RECOVERY WITH LOW PRESSURE LIFTBAGS

Our company remains being convinced of the use of liftbags. Due to the low pressure in the bags, the impact to the side of a rolled over truck remains as limited as possible. In many cases lift bags can lift a truck,

independent from other recovery tools, with the cargo remaining in the truck.

All our low pressure bags, and all specifications are set on a normal working pressure of 0,5 Bar, the max working pressure is 0,8 Bar.

STARTER BAGS are easy to place under the side of the truck, they also remain very flat in deflated condition (3cm). The diameter is 90 cm, height 100 cm, capacity 4,5 T

Our BIG TRAPEZIUM BAGS allow you, to com-pletely lift a rolled over truck. The trapezium shape al-lows you to follow the roofline of a freezer, completely up to the point of basculation, but also prevents the bag from slipping under the truck. Diameter 150 cm, Height inside 210 cm, outside 230 cm, Capacity 8.5 T

MEDIUM BAGS have the same diameter and capacity as our BIG Bags, only they are less high than the big ones. The reason is that in case of lifting a tanker, instead of height STABILITY is needed. Also they are easier to install under the side of the truck. Height 180 cm weight 16 kg.

Our GIANT BAG is being supplied as an addition to the present set. This high capacity bag is an ideal addition, in case open space under a truck must be covered.Diameter 180 cm, Height 220 cm, Capacity 12,5 T

The MATJACK high-pressure bag is being used to create the initial space under the truck. We connect the Matjack to the compressor of your tow-truck (8 Bar Max). We supply 30 ton and 50 ton Matjacks

WHY

By the large surface of the bags, the same force can be obtained with less pressure. It’s this REDUCED pressure, which restricts additional damage during recoveries. Regardless if a tower uses only bags, or is combining various other tools, the use of bags to support the side of the truck ensures that the pressure is as limited as possible, and so the impact of the recovery to a maximum.

THE ADVANTAGES

Besides the primary advantage of the load staying in the truck, another advantage of bags is TIME, since the man-hours to empty a rolled over truck can be avoided. Additionally the use of bags will increase your CAPACITY. It is not the aim to replace the use of a crane or tow-truck; it merely works supplementary, where your crane/tow-truck can have a different job in the recovery.

OUR SOLUTIONS

Since 1996 we have gained experience in liftbag systems, we have worked with most of the current systems. We concluded that none of the than present systems met our requirements. Therefore, from 2002 we have developed our own system. We construct bags, which are rigid enough to meet the requirements on the road. However the bags are sufficiently light and flexible to slide them under the truck. They are made out of PVC, which is more rigid than PU, but lighter than rubbers such as hypolon. The huge advantage of PVC is that it is very easy to repair, simply by a hot air welder, so in case of a puncture, the bag can be repaired on site. We build our bags cylindrically, so the best pressure distribution is being obtained. Our large bags have a diagonal top, so they will follow the lifting to a maximum. We supply 4 sizes of bags, which can be combined depending on the requirement of the recovery. We supply systems with a minimum of 7 bags, a pump, which supplies more than 4000 liters per minute and a control bank with 8-10 connections. Also we supply Matjack high-pressure bags, which can beconnected to the compressor of the tow-truck. Matjacks are an essential tool to create the initial lift, so you can properly place the low-pressure bags. Matjacks can also be used for other jobs like lifting the front wheels of a truck with flat front tires.

Height 154 cm. Width 180 cm, allowing to install the bags under the 1st and 3rd axle of the trailer. 3 air-escape-locks are installed, which allow the air to deflate very quickly. The pressure on the bag do not exceed 1.5 bars with 2 bags installed. Air supply via an included air-blower and air-duct system. There are no mechanical parts installed on the bags, such as pres-sure relief valves or hose connectins, so the chances of misfunction are limited. The bags are manufactured out of enforced PVC class 4 material, which is extremely strong and durable, but also easy to repair by hot air welding.

catchbags allow you to catch a truck from the point of basculation, and gently returning the truck back on its wheels. These bags have been created to reduce the speed of the truck during its decent. These bags do not offer any lifting power, but the 3 air-escape valves allow the air to escape.

Our latest development are the revolutionary CATCHBAGS, specially developed to reduce the impact of the truck falling back on its wheels. These systems are completely independent from the lifting system and therefore easy and quick to operate. Catchbags are now successfully operated by many towers.
