The maximum rock size observed was 400 mm. The rock found in TP17-05 and TP17-06 was

not included in the averages/ranged noted above. These test holes contain small to medium sized

cobbles intermixed with some sands and gravels (see photo of TP17-05 on Page 9). These

locations have been excluded from the recommended suitability area on the Pit Development

Plan, however, the material is still accessible and available if needed.

Granular Volume:

Estimated volume: 45,000 m3

Pit Development and Recommendations:

The mining area has been previously developed by the Ministry of Transportation and

Infrastructure (MoTI). Any additional development will be the responsibility of the

contractor and shall be completed as per the pit development plan or as directed by the

Ministry Representative.

Due to a high percentage of oversize rock contained within the deposit the use of a primary

crusher is required during aggregate production.

The crusher is recommended to be located as identified on the Pit Development Plan to the

north of TP17-01, with mining proceeding in a northeast and southeast direction as indicated.

Processed aggregate may be stockpiled north of the suitability area where space permits.

Some minor stripping may be required prior to mining and aggregate stockpiling. If

additional development is required it shall conform to the requirements of the pit

development plan or be completed as directed by the Ministry Representative.

At the completion of mining, active pit faces shall be sloped to a minimum of 1 ½:1 with

granular material.

All reject materials resulting from aggregate production are to be placed in separate

stockpiles free from deleterious material and in an easily accessible location. No

stockpiling against the pit face is permitted without the permission from the Aggregate

Resource Manager.
