Brokerage firms activity indicators under 2013

Brokerage firms realized in 2013, a total turnover of 173 million dirhams thus recording a quasi

stagnation compared to 2012.

The breakdown of turnover by activity type, in 2013, reveals that the intermediation activity stands

as usual around 80% of the total turnover.

In regards to brokerage firms’ net income; it recorded a remarkable decline dropping from nearly 45

million dirhams in 2012 to almost 28 million in 2013.

However, of all the brokerage firms, six recorded losses against 11 in 2012.
