Options Many new alternative energy vehicles are

being constructed. A lot of solar assisted vehicle will start

with expensive prices, however over time it will be more cost effective with better fuel economy.

Solar Power Assisted Trucks

The company, Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation, produce modular, fully integrated and tested solar power generation systems.

Not only are the busses assisted by solar power, the car is also run by bio-diesel.

The vehicle originated as a bus but can also be made into a truck. Price: Approx. $80,000

TNT Express An Australian company, TNT Express,

created a diesel-electric truck fleet Each individual truck can save up to

1,600 KG of C02 emissions per year. Each truck is equipped with a battery

pack which is a 273V, 6.5 Ah NiMH system.

Price: Approx. $60,000

World's Most Powerful Electric Truck

This truck can pull up to 60,000 lbs. Though it can pull a lot more, the total

mileage (per charge) is only 60 miles. The truck was made by the Port of Los

Angelesand South Coast Air Quality Management District

Solar Propelled Cargo Boats

Recently, the first ever solar propelled cargo boat was released.

The boat includes 328 massive solar panels.

Most oil tankers use enough power to power 5,500 homes.

Products can be transported on this boat and be help the environment greatly.

Options Any of these options provide environmentally-

friendly transportation. Depending where the Snugster is made, the

solar propelled boat might come in handy if they are manufactured in a foreign country. If the Snugster is successful, then Brolo can have one of these boats specifically for Snugsters.

For land transportation, the TNT Express might not be solar powered like the truck by B.I.T., however it’s biodiesel engine can make the truck run day and night, and further without stopping.
