ブルネイ輸出振興支援事業

Brunei Darussalam is a Islamic kingdom located in the northwestern

part of Borneo island. Brunei attracts popularity with the image such

as “Royal Family”, “rich natural environment” and “Islamic culture”. The main industries of Brunei are petroleum oil and natural gas, but

the government is working out for promoting economical

diversification to raise people’s life standard and to establish

self-supporting economy.

JETRO has been carried out “Development & Export Promotion of

Brunei Handicraft Products” for 2 years since 2008 based on

JAPAN-BRUNEI Economic Partnership Agreement which was

concluded in 2007.

JETRO dispatched the experts to Bruneian companies selected by

mutual agreement with Bruneian government and provided them

with technical assistance such as improvement of design and

quality, marketing know-how.

The category of candidate companies are glassware products,

textile and fashion items.

These companies have been stepped up efforts under the experts’ advice, and improved their products making use of Brunei

attraction. “IFFT/interiorlifestyle living” is the important opportunity

for making known their achievement.

ジェトロ「ブルネイ伝統工芸品輸出振興支援」事業

ブルネイ・ダルサラーム国は、ボルネオ島の北西部に位置する

東南アジアのイスラム教国です。「王室」「豊かな自然」「イスラ

ム文化」などのイメージで親しまれています。

ブルネイの主要産業は石油と天然ガスですが、政府は物流部門

の確立、高付加価値産業の育成、他の天然資源の開発、国民の

生活が自給自足でき且つ質の高いものになるように、経済の多

様化を推進しています。

ジェトロでは2007年に締結された日ブルネイ経済連携協定に

基づき、2008年度から2年間にわたりブルネイの伝統工芸品

の輸出振興事業に取り組みました。

ブルネイ政府と協議の上選定したガラス製品・テキスタイル製

品企業に対し、日本からの専門家派遣を通してデザイン・品質に

おける製品改良、価格戦略や展示会出展アドバイスやマーケテ

ィング指導を行いました。

企業は専門家の指導の下、ブルネイの魅力を最大限に引き出し

つつ、日本市場で受け入れられやすい製品の開発に取り組み、

その成果を IFFT/interiorlifestyle living 展で発表します。

「Brunei Premium」は、ブルネイを象徴する黄色い花をモチーフにブルネイ製品の「高級感」、日本人に親しみやすい「王室文化」をイメージして作られたシンボルマークです。

“Brunei Premium” is the symbol created with the motif of Bruneian symbolic

yellow flower. This image is “premium accent” of Brunei product and “culture

of Royal Family” familiar with Japanese.

traditional “Kain Tenunan” manufacturer; ZA

Handicraft designed its own Bruneian motifs for its

handwoven products and fabric.ZA Collection are

authentic and uniquely Bruneian.ZA Handicraft

utilizing the specially designed handwoven fabric

materials to produce: handbags for formal functions,

Jewelry boxes, Framed artifacts suitable for hotels

and office interior decoration.

しました。ひとつひとつ工房でガラスを吹く手作りの質感と、ブ

Mahkota Crystal is a pioneer manufacturer in glass

in Brunei Darussalam. It’s the purveying of goods to

the Royal family. Mahkota Crystal have colorful and

artistic items, such as vase, plate, etc. Now they are

trying to produce the practical line under the

JETRO’s support. These products are all handmade,

so we can enjoy the warm substance and unique

design.
