C, Suite 120 The Coliseum Cancer Institute will provide colon cancer education and free screening kits to attendees on these Fridays during March. Thursday, March 8, 7:00pm Colon Cancer Conference Museum of Arts and Sciences, 4182 Forsyth Rd. The Coliseum Cancer Institute will host an educational evening exploring the latest advancements and treatments of colon cancer. Round-table discussion will include: colorectal surgeon Dr. D. Brewer, gastroenterologists including Dr. B. Huckaby, Dr. D. Heacock and Dr. R. Bedgood, medical oncologist Dr. U. Reusch, radiation oncologist Dr. S. Cavanaugh, pathologist Dr. R. Bradley, and radiologist Dr. M. Zinsmeister. Wednesday, March 14, Noon – 1:00pm Colon Cancer and Diabetes Coliseum Medical Centers, 350 Hospital Drive, Bldg. C, Suite 120 Coliseum Cancer Institute will host a Lunch-n-Learn featuring gastroenterologist Dr. Raymond Bedgood discussing the link between colon cancer and diabetes. Thursday, March 22, Noon – 1:00pm Colon Cancer and Genetics Coliseum Medical Centers, 350 Hospital Drive, Bldg. C, Suite 120 Coliseum Cancer Institute will host a Lunch-n-Learn featuring colorectal surgeon Dr. Doug Brewer discussing colon cancer and genetics. Tuesday, March 27, Noon – 1:00pm Colon Cancer’s Effect on the African-American Community Coliseum Medical Centers, 350 Hospital Drive, Bldg. C, Suite 120 Selina Smith, PhD, from Morehouse University will lead the discussion about the increased risk of colon cancer in the African-American community.
