To align objects to a specific object, use Anchor-Based Alignment which aligns the selected objects to the first selected object.

1. Make sure the Edit palette is visible. If it is not, click the Edit button at the top of the Bryce window.

2. Click the Triangle icon to the bottom right of the Align tool and choose Anchor-Based Aligning from the menu.

3. Select the object you want to use as the align anchor. 4. Select the remaining objects to align. 5. Move the cursor over the Align tool. 6. When the state you want to use is active, click the mouse button.

The example below shows the selected objects aligned to the X Left edge of the sphere, which was selected first.

Align Y

To align objects along the Y-axis: 1. Make sure the Edit palette is visible. If it is not, click the Edit button at the top of the Bryce

window.

2. Select two or more objects. Move the cursor over the Align tool.

3. When the state you want to use is active, click the mouse button.

The default alignment is "non-anchor based" which means that the tool aligns objects based on the bounding box of the selected objects. Examples:
