The Story (what we do and why)
Intervention Plan:
Agriculture accounts for 32% (AVRDC report 2005) of Bangladeshs gross domestic prod
Agriculture, 2009) of the countrys labor force. Quality seed is a critical input for farmer
in providing seed to farmers. In addition approximately 8000 (Comprehenechive Cross

Recent trends indicate a shift towards the production of high yielding varieties (HYV) of
