1. Dashboard
The Dashboard provides a summary view of happenings across the market. It includes
reports like
Market Movers
Advances Declines, Circuit Filters
Portfolio Performance
Corporate Announcements
The new users who are yet to create their Portfolio or Watchlist with us will see
Dashboard as shown in Image 1.1
To create a new portfolio, click on the link ‘My Portfolio’ or ‘Click here to create a
portfolio’ under the heading ‘Networth’. This link will take you to ‘Manage Portfolio’ page.

For the users who have maintained portfolios with us or are existing MyBSE users, the
Dashboard page will be as shown in Image 1.2

MyBSE users are not required to create their portfolios once again. The MyBSE data has
been migrated to our new portfolio system. All the portfolio names that are maintained
in MyBSE will be available in My Portfolio
The user will be able to track his net worth, total investment, gain for the day (in Rs and
in %) and overall gain (in Rs and in %).

There are 7 sections on the BSEPlus Dashboard. They are as follows:
a) Net Worth
This is the current value of your portfolio followed by absolute Gain/Loss and Percentage
change.

b) Portfolio Performance
At single glance, you can see Investment Amount, Current Value of Portfolio, Today’s
Gain, Overall Gain and their percentages for all portfolios or an individual Portfolio.

c) Top Movers
This section on Dashboard provides the Top four scrips and bottom four scrips as per the
percentage change in their prices.
This is divided into three groups - ‘Market A Group’, ‘My Portfolio’ and ‘Watch List’.
‘Market A Group’ will show the top movers from BSE ‘A Group’ scrips. ‘My Portfolio’
heading shows the scrips pertaining to your Portfolio and My Watch List – shows scrips
the pertaining to your Watch Lists.

d) Market Snap
This section provides you the following statistics – How many scrips have advanced,
declined or are unchanged, Number of scrips in the Upper Circuit or Lower Circuit and
their total.
This is divided into three groups - ‘Market A Group’, ‘My Portfolio’ and ‘Watch List’.
‘Market A Group’ will show market snap data from BSE ‘A Group’ scrips. ‘My Portfolio’
heading shows the scrips belonging to your Portfolios and ‘My Watch List’ shows scrips
pertaining to your Watch List.

e) Get Quote (Multiple)
You can see Quotes for maximum six scrips at simultaneously. You can also check your
recently viewed quotes displayed just below the ‘Get Quote’.
You can change your selection any time.

f) Corporate Announcements
The Corporate Announcements section on Dashboard is divided into three groups. All the
corporate announcements are categorized as per ‘All Market’, ‘My Portfolio’ and ‘Watch
List’. In ‘My Portfolio’ heading you will see corporate announcements pertaining to your
Portfolio scrips. And in ‘My Watch List’, heading corporate announcements pertaining to
your Watch List scrips.

g) Download Bhavcopy
In BSEPlus, we provide the Bhavcopy for easy access, in a detailed mode. This Bhavcopy
gets updated on 6:30 PM on every trading day.

2. My Portfolio
In ‘My Portfolio’ section, there are four basic operations – Manage Portfolio, Add Stocks /
ETFs, Add Mutual Funds and view Transaction History. Apart from these options, you can
view you portfolio in a summarized form or in detailed view. You also can see portfolio
summary as per the number of portfolios or as per the instrument types.
Portfolio wise details of each portfolio – This report provide all essential information
regarding your portfolios in consolidated view. At single glance, you can see Investment
Amount, Current Value of Portfolio, Today’s Gain, Overall Gain and their percentages for
each portfolio. There is an excel download facility provided for your further use. Portfolio
wise details of each portfolio is shown in Image 2.1

Instrument Type wise Portfolio details – In this view you can see your investments
categorized by Instrument Type viz. Equity/ETFs and Mutual Funds. Instrument Type
wise portfolio details is shown in Image 2.2

The Portfolio detailed view provides all the information and statistics about one portfolio
or all Portfolios. The Scrips in the portfolios are categorized on the basis of instrument
type i.e. Equity/ETFs and Mutual Funds.
You can view details of one portfolio or all portfolios. You can select portfolio names in
dropdown box provided in the left hand top corner of the webpage.

There is also a facility wherein you can see multiple transactions performed on the same
scrip. You can also edit or delete any transaction.

a) Manage Portfolios
Manage Portfolios will enable you to perform activities for your created portfolios. You
can create new portfolios. You can update or edit existing portfolios and you can remove
/ delete your portfolio which is not required. There is also a description column provided
for your reference to write notes about the portfolio. You can also see the date on which
the portfolio was created.

b) Add Stocks / ETFs
This is a Entry Form for adding Equity / ETFs to the portfolio. There are some
compulsory fields and some optional fields. The optional fields can be left blank. Brief
descriptions of the fields are as follows:
1. Action: You can select the option ‘BUY’ or ‘SELL’, as per your transaction.
2. Portfolio Name: You have to select portfolio name so that your transaction will
be recorded in the correct portfolio.
3. Name: You can select company name from here. This is smart search facility
which enables you to select company name by entering scrip code, scrip ID or
company name.
4. Price: This is the price at which you have bought or sold the share.
5. Quantity: The number of shares that you have purchased or sold.
6. Brokerage: This is the amount charged by your broker for this particular
transaction. This field can be left blank.
7. Other deductions: Any other deductions for your transactions can be recorded
here. This field can be left blank.
8. Notes: This is a text field where you can describe your transaction. This field can
be left blank.

c) Add Mutual Funds
This is an Entry Form for adding Mutual Funds to the portfolio. There are some
compulsory fields and some optional fields. The optional fields can be left blank.
Currently, the Mutual Funds listed on BSE StaR MF platform can only be added to your
portfolio.

d) Transaction History
Transaction History – This report is very useful when you want to view your historical
transactions. You can sort the records by clicking on the report header. Please note, the
deleted transactions will not be reflected in this report. However, even if you have
deleted your portfolio, you can see all the transaction against that portfolio.

3. Watch List
You can create watch lists with maximum 30 scrips in each list. There will be one default
watch list named SENSEX. It will contain all 30 SENSEX scrips. There will be three active
watch lists & any watch list beyond the 3rd will be assumed as Other Watch List.
The User has to create a watch list by clicking ‘New Watch List’, it will ask for the Watch
list name. click on -> on typing the W watch list name. You will receive a message on
the successful creation of the watch list. Then, click on OK.
Now, to add the scrips in the newly created Watch list, select the company’s name, at
the Enter Scrip window & select the desired scrip from the list. Maximum 30 scrips can
be added in each watch list.
Once the scrips are added, the order of scrips can be saved or it can be sorted on scrip
name or % change or volume (ascending or descending) at anytime.
The Watch list can be exported to an excel sheet & can be refreshed with the Refresh
icon next to the Export to excel icon ( ).
The first 3 watch lists that are created will be the active watch lists. The watch list
names will be displayed in the left panel. The total number of scrips & number of scrips
that have moved up and the total number of scrips that have moved down are indicated
in front of the watch list name. Also there are 4 different views available for each Watch
List.
a) Grid View
It gives the selected market information of each scrip. There is a bell icon at the end of
each record.
a) If the colour of the bell is solid green, it means there is some new information
received today in the either of the following sections, Results, Share Holding Pattern,
Corporate Actions, News or Market related information such as Spurt in Volume, 52
Week High/Low, Breach of Upper or lower circuit. ( )
b) If the only the outline of the bell is green, it means there is some information received
within last 2 days in one of the sections. The section which undergone change within last
2 days will have Recent tag. ( )
c) If the colour of the bell is white with grey outline, it means there is no information
received today or within lat 2 days. ( )
There is a icon ( ) on the left of each scrip, which will allow to delete the scrip or to
view the charts.

b) Heat Map
It depicts the positive or negative change in the scrip price based on the colour grid. As
you move the mouse over each scrip in the chart, you will get the price info, graph and
with by clicking on each scrip you can view the Advanced Stock Reach page.

c) Streamer
Live streaming Quotes of your watch list can be seen here. The intra-day graph of the
scrip price movement is shown under the Trend. H-L indicates today’s High minus Low.
52W v/s LTP – on the extreme left is 52 Week low price and at the extreme right 52
Week high is indicated. The blue arrow indicates the current price and a dotted line
indicates the previous closing price.

4. Trade Check
The Users can verify their trades done at BSE and also all the trades done during a
particular period. The date-wise & scrip wise summary & detailed view of the verified
trades is available.
