FIRST DAY: Read all the lesson notes and references. 1. How did the teaching in the lecture change your thinking? 2. What did you find meaningful for your life in the notes? SECOND DAY: Read Matthew 21:18-22. 3. Read Mark 11:12-14. On a healthy fig tree in spring, if leaves are present, so is fruit. a. What did Jesus say when He found no fruit on the tree? b. How had Jesus’ opponents refused to act on what God had already shown them? b. Read Matthew 13:11-15. What principles from these verses apply to the religious leaders who questioned Jesus’ authority? c. (Personal) Is there anything you have learned from studying Matthew that you have refused to apply? If so, how might this keep you from all God has for you? 7.
