cum admission list has expired and before displaying the second admission list, sliding shall

be undertaken based on merit for seats unfilled. Those students who were offered admission

in the first list and accepted their admission by paying their semester fee on or before the

last date specified will also be eligible for sliding for upgrading their branch preference, in

addition to those who had applied but did not make it to the first admission list, subject to

availability of seats as per their merit.

19.2 In the event of availability of seat(s), if at all, student (s) will be automatically upgraded to

their higher preference, if any, in accordance with merit unless they have voluntary

present alongwith all documents as para 23.1 and fees as per para 21 as per date schedule

    given in para 15

20.6 Students already admitted as per the earlier admission lists are also eligible to participate if

they still wish to change their branch. However, whilst they need not fill the admission form

again, their physical presence is necessary alongwith the proof of admission i.e. Admission

    fee receipt in original.

20.7 In case an applicant(s) does not present himself / herself when his / her rank is called, he/

leave the counseling venue while the counseling process is underway.

20.8 Since it is necessary to fill all unfilled seats as far as possible, student(s) offered admission at

seats, the last date for cancellation / withdrawal of admission has deliberately been kept

well before the last date of admission.

26.2 Accordingly, students desirous of canceling their admission MUST NOT confuse the last

made by the University to fill a vacancy that may arise after the last date of admission (i.e. 8th

August 2011). Therefore, incase of withdrawal after the last date of admission, it will be

classified a mid course withdrawal, as the seat so vacatedwill continue to remain unfilled for

the balance years of the degree. In view thereof, incase of any mid-course withdrawal, no

fee, by whatsoever name called is refundable under any circumstances whatsoever.

27.7 Since Children / Wards of NRIs are admitted on First come first served basis and not
