Our second food & drink festival is kicking off theDevon micro-fest season in 2015. Organised andsupported by Budleigh in Business as part of theBudleigh Buy Local campaign, it’s a celebration ofthe chefs, producers and suppliers who keep ourarea’s brilliant food heritage alive.

Live Cookery demos are on all three festival days inthe Public Hall, covering everything from nose to taileating, wild food, seafood, even our own READYSTEADY COOK! … and all by east Devon basedchefs! Even the majority of our 25 exhibitors in theNEW Food & Drink Market hail from the same end ofthe county too. It’s our local ethos, continuing topromote our corner of Devon which sets BudleighFood & Drink Fest apart - certainly something worthcelebrating!

There is a great range of foodie stalls this year witha wealth of produce and food to trial, taste and buyall weekend, alongside the popular local beer & ciderfestival, special promotions and events on out andabout in the town and the surrounding area, and ourNEW Entertainment Marquee where we have live

music from great local people from a range ofgenres, plus for the kids, a great range of crafts,entertainment and workshops – all hands on.

The Budleigh Farmers Market are joining us on theSaturday, a local inter school PTA Great BudleighBake Off competition is taking place, our guest chefGlen Cosby – Devon’s own BBC’s Bake Off favouriteis opening the show for us on the Saturday morning,and our first Budleigh Tray-bake Trail is happeningat participating cafés and shops.
