    Jesushadtwelveclosefriends,calledthedisciples.Peter,Andrew,James,andJohnwere part of that group. The disciples followed Jesus wherever he went. TheywatchedasJesusdidmiracles,likehealingpeopleandwalkingonwater.TheysawthewayJesustreatedotherpeoplewithloveandkindness.

    ThediscipleslistenedasJesustaughtcrowdsofpeopleaboutGod.Hetaughtpeoplethings likehowtoprayandhowtomakewisechoices. Jesustoldthedisciplestofollow his example and to do what he did. The disciples learned so much fromspending timewith Jesusand followinghim.Wecanall follow Jesus’examplebybeingagoodfriend,makingwisechoices,talkingtoGod,andservingothers.
