A significant part of the housing stock in Armenia is in deplorable condition.The main problems include insufficient energy insulation, poor condition ofthe gas, water and sewerage systems and unhygienic conditions ofbathrooms and kitchens. Insufficient window insulation is a major problemin all regions. Many families do not have access to drinking water. The vastmajority of the housing continues to deteriorate.

Dinner22, 23 and 24 August Breakfast. Health and safety orientation (Monday).Build on worksite 9 am 4.30pm (lunch on site).Dinner and free evening.25 August, ThursdayFree day for cultural activities. Dinner and freeevening.26 August, FridayBreakfast. Build on worksite 9 am 4.30pm (lunch onsite). Dinner and free evening.27 August, SaturdayBreakfast. Build on worksite 9 am 4.30pm (lunch onsite). Clean up, blessing ceremony. BBQ dinner.28 August, SundayBreakfast. Transfer to Yerevan. Evaluations at HFHAoffice. Lunch. Free time and dinner.29 August, MondayBreakfast. Departure day.
Cost of the trip is $1,500 plus round-trip airfare. Trip costincludes lodging, food, in-country transport, cultural activities,travelers medical insurance, orientation and donation toHabitat for Humanity for program support. Participants willneed to arrange and pay for their own flight to Armenia and visa(if required).
