2004: Growth Management Act update mapping - updated land-use planning maps for the City Limits and surrounding Urban Growth Area
2005-2006: Building more capacity for digital data collection, GPS Technology acquisition and GPS and GIS training, utilities mapping begins (fire hydrants, manhole covers)
2006-2007: Extending capacity for using GIS and GPS – more training, investigate other departmental use (Police, Fire, Planning)
