LARA ARIELL, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, INLAND REVENUELara is on secondment as CFO for 12 months until early 2017. Lara joined the Tertiary Education Commission as Deputy Chief Executive - Finance in February 2014. Prior to joining the TEC, Lara worked for the Ministry of Justice, initially as the CFO and then as General manager Performance and Improvement, Courts and Tribunals. Lara has also spent time as the CFO at Te Papa Tongarewa, the Museum of New Zealand, and working in planning and finance teams across the public sector. She started her career working in receivership and insolvency with accountancy firm Price Waterhouse and then McCallum Petterson and Co.

GREG CAIN, PARTNER, KENSINGTON SWANGreg Cain is a partner at Kensington Swan, specialising in employment law and health and safety. Greg assists clients with restructurings, sickness management, performance and disciplinary matters, bullying and other investigations, dealing with personal grievances, holidays, restraints of trade and other contractual questions, and representing clients in employment litigation as well as on Worksafe investigations.

CATHY SCOTT, PRINCIPAL ECONOMIST, NZIERCathy Scott is a Principal Economist at NZIER and comes with more than a decade of economic and policy advice across government. She has worked in the public sector in senior roles in ACC, the Ministry of Primary Industries, Housing and the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. She was a background in economics and public policy. She has a wide ranging policy background, including interests in the primary sector, social policy, and economic policy.

JOLEEN PIPER, SENIOR STRATEGIC ADVISER, MINISTRY FOR ENVIRONMENTJoleen joined The Ministry for the Environment in January 2016 as Senior Strategic Finance Advisor. As a member of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand, she has held senior finance positions in Public & State Owned Enterprise within New Zealand. Joleen found her passion for the Primary Sector in New Zealand while holding senior roles at Landcorp Farming Limited.

RON STUART, MANAGER - GOVERNMENT ICT SUPPLY STRATEGY, DEPARTMENT OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

Ron is a futurist, strategist and decision scientist with a history of providing outstanding results to both the private and public sectors in areas such as organizational and ecosystem design, ICT strategy and design, restructuring, workforce planning, outsourcing, change management, human capital management and supply chain management including strategic procurement and strategic sourcing. As Manager Government ICT Supply Strategy he has been involved in the recent design and deployment of the New Zealand Government ICT strategy, supplier relationship management framework and the ICT public cloud marketplace.
