Clash detection

• Often referred to as 4D BIM

• ‘Tasks’ assigned to various objects, and can be bi-directionally linked to external schedules in some of the widely used planning packages (Primavera / MS Project etc...) or as .csv files

• Allows time based clash detection, logistical optimisation and assessment of various options in terms of buildability.

• Studies carried out on most efficient forms of file for use and transfer as various options available.

Time related analysis

This can be extended in Navisworks or Synchro by linking with time analysis in order to detect for ‘clashes’ in the programming sequence (such as crane locations and columns).
