Reading Acquisition ProgramThrough our partnership with Southern Cross University (SCU), we delivered the BURT Reading Assessment for

the first time. The BURT test measures a child’s reading age and compares their result to their actual age.

The results highlight that we have significant work to undertake in order to improve the literacy of our children. This test will now be conducted annually and it is our goal that we’ll see vast improvement annually.
