Sputtering ToolAJA International ATC-D (Twin-System: ATC-2200V & ATC-Orion-8) Sputtering Tool Two large deposition chambers (each with its own turbo pump) separated by a pumped transfer chamber. The system is configured for 100mm round substrates. Also included are fixtures that permit the loading of different shaped (smaller) substrates – quarters and squares. These can be loaded Approx 6 at a time through a load-lock station and manually transferred to the deposition position and then back to the load cassette (or onwards to the 2nd chamber). Chamber 1 is configured for 8 sputter deposition sources. It currently has a mix of 2”, 3” and one 4” target. These include both RF and DC sources and power supplies. The 2nd chamber has fewer sources. The substrate can be rotated and is heated from above by a high power quartz heating unit. Temperatures up to maybe 800°C are attainable.
