JANUARY2011 Some years you never want to end but they inevitably fly by leaving a blur of lasting memories. Other years seem like they lumber along like a slow moving freight train - seemingly going on forever and ever. As I reflect on 2010 and all it had in store, there is a sense of bittersweetness. Early on in the year my aunt Sese died after a painful battle with breast cancer and then a week later my grandma fell and broke her leg. It was so much to endure, but the Lord was faithful through it all. I remember sitting in my room singing Blessed Be the Name of the Lord and wrestling with and then praising the Lord for his sovereignty. In the spring, before moving back to Rome, I was able go see Luca, for the first time as a brother in Christ. It was such an encouragement to see the Lord’s faithfulness in his life and to hear his story of how he came to faith. I was reminded that God continues to move and work in the lives of Italians. After seeing the Lord complete my team of ministry partners and a summer of cross cultural training, I moved to Rome! When I think of all the Lord has done to bring be here, I am amazed. I am so thankful to God for you and your partnership in the gospel and for the countless ways he has provided for me to be living as a missionary in Rome. Wishing you a blessed new year! JANUARY2011

Some years you never want to end but they inevitably fly by leaving a blur of lasting memories.

Wishing you a blessed new year!

through it all.

There’s a long pause as I consider what the lord has done this past year. Throughout the good times and

the hard times, the Lord has been faithful.
