October 2006: Election with 2 new councilors plus mayorOctober 2006: Election

December 2007: zoning changed from 6 storey height maximum to 6-8 storeys (east) and 10-15 storeys (west)

December 2007: 30 metre shoreline setback with little development assumed. Old Lakeshore added to Urban Growth Boundaries

July 2009: Council approves Urban Design Guidelines

July 2009-Present: 1,500 residents join Save our Waterfront, objecting to changes they had no idea were happening

October 2009: OMB Hearing on Tim Hortons (TDL) appeal against City and Conservation Halton

July 2009: Urban Design Guidelines approved

March 25, 2009: Public meeting to present Urban Design Guidelines. Community told height, rezoning, setbacks have already been determined.
