First we wrote a note to Mrs Peck to ask if we could dig out some dirt from behind LC11. Then we asked Mr Merriman if we could use a garden shovel. After that we dug up 6 little patches of grass. Then we got our equipment which was fizzy, baking soda, vinegar, a lighter and salt. Then we started our experiment.

• The fizzy makes the dirt fuzzy.

For our school science expo we are doing what burns grass the fastest? If you want make a soccer or rugby field you could burn the lines to mark out the field and it will be cheaper than weed eater and after a couple of weeks you might want to hose it off.
