If you wish to Decline acceptance of the Privacy Policy and License Agreement you will then be directed to a new screen which allows you to conduct your registration using anonymous information

Anonymous Registration OPTION

Set up an email address for your pseudonym (fake name) so that your instructor and Pearson can communicate with you when necessary. You can use an email service like Yahoo! or Google gmail.

On the Account Information page for this course, enter the pseudonym email address and a fake name instead of your real name.

Notify your instructor in writing with your real name and your pseudonym name and email. IMPORTANT: You must tell your instructor about your fake name and real name so that you will get credit for your assignments and tests. You should NOT transmit such information to Pearson Education.

Remaining Registration Steps

On the Access Information Screen, you’ll be asked whether you already have a Pearson Education Account.

Whether you wish to remain anonymous or NOT, click NO and create a new profile using non-identifying information.

If you select Yes, you will see a Welcome Back screen, where you may be prompted to update your password and make changes to your account information as needed.

When you are asked if you have a ``Pearson Education Account``, click on

the NO button

Your login name & password should be the same as your BLACKBOARD ones

Your ACCESS CODE is the one which came with your textbook bundle. Type letters in either all uppercase or all lowercase.

Your password must have at least 8 characters (up to 32) and at least 1 number AND 1 letter.

IF you wish to remain anonymous, you can use a “pseudonym” and non-identifying email address

The final steps ask you to identify your school and province and select a question to be used as your ‘forgotten login’ hint

You will then receive a Registration Confirmation and Summary as Shown

Registration is complete

Print your confirmation sheet Now

Log in at www.myitlab.com with the username/password you have just created (please

note, you will always log in from this page)

A welcome screen will pop up. Please select ‘Do not display this message again’ and then

click OK

Enroll in a Course and enter your Course ID, provided by your instructor
