Sepeda Sehat USG is one of our initiatives to promote healthy lifestyle among our employees. This event
held on November in Congol unit and was participated by over 50 employees. Our employees’ enthusiasm
encouraged us to regularly hold this event. This event not only is to promote healthy life style among
employees, but also to strengthen employees’ solidarity.

The existence of mosque in Indonesia, as the largest
Muslim population country, is important to serve as a
place where Muslim can come together for prayer.
To support the community, Ungaran Sari Garments
contributed 12 sacks of cement to the mosque of
Jami’Baitul Muttaqin, which is located near our
factory in Pringapus.
Ungaran Sari Garments held Christmas celebration with employees and their families. This event took place at
Taman Doa Getsemani, Ungaran and was attended by over 250 employees and their families. The spirit of
Christmas brings peace and joy among participants.
This event enables the company to engage with our employees and their families, also as the opportunity for
the employees to gather with their colleagues.

Blood Donation on World
AIDS Day
On World AIDS day, December 1st, blood donation
was organized by Ungaran Sari Garments in
Ungaran, Congol and Pringapus unit.
This donation collected 376 blood bags, which 20 of
its came from new donors.

In the ecosystem, trees play an important role as oxygen
producers, which absorb carbon dioxide and potentially
harmful gasses.
“One Employee Two Tree Program” is part of our Go
Green initiatives, aimed to preserve environment and
also to create awareness among our employees. The
event held in December 2017. We planted 210 seeds of
various trees in Jatirunggo village in Pringapus.
This initiative will be continuously organized in our
surrounding factory.

Seed Program
In collaboration with the counsellors from the Professional Counseling Program Universitas Negeri
Semarang, Ungaran Sari Garments organized a counseling training with the theme “Basic Counseling
Techniques Training”, in Ungaran, Congol and Pringapus units.
Over 148 participants took part in this training. The training emphasized the basic counseling techniques to
create a positive and supportive work environment.

Energy Audit & ISO 14001:2015 Assesment
Ungaran Sari Garments, in partnership with BRISEMA,
held ISO 14001:2015 assessment in Ungaran, Congol,
and Pringapus units. ISO 14001:2015 specifies
requirements for environmental management system
to enhance company’s sustainability performance.
Following that week, Ungaran Sari Garments also
coordinated an energy audit, in collaboration with PT.
Indotara Global Jaya. This audit is purposed to assess
energy saving in Ungaran, Congol and Pringapus
units.

To address the rapid growing population issue in Indonesia, an effective
family planning program is one of the key strategies for birth control.
Ungaran Sari Garments, in collaboration with the Health Agency district
Semarang, held training in Ungaran, Congol and Pringapus unit. Over 83
female workers participated this event.
Through this program, our female workers can get an easy access to
have contraception injection at our clinic. In addition, this program is
aimed to increase awareness on healthy contraceptive methods among
participants.
World AIDS Day takes place on December 1st every year. To show
support for kids and babies living with HIV/AIDS, Ungaran Sari
Garments visited a residential care home for children with HIV/AIDS
in Semarang.
Our HERProject Peer Educators was partnering with the CSR team
of Ungaran Sari Garments, contributed a package of milk formula
box to seven kids living with positive HIV/AIDS. We hope our little
contribution helps the family and brings happiness for the kids.
