    J D College of Engineering Conducts workshop on CEO in the Making

    The department of Management studies of J D College of Engineering conducted one day workshopon CEO in the Making for management students of Nagpur on 7 February 2012 at the collegepremises.

    The event was inaugurated by the principal of the college, Dr. Pramod Patil, Speaking on theoccasion, the Key note Speaker, Mr. Sanjay Jog, General Manager, Tata Teleservices Ltd(Maharashtra Circle), took the students on a brief tour of his career span and stressed the need totake care of the little things which go a long way in laying a strong foundation on which a personcan build a successful career.Prof. Prashant Chhajer, an expert in finance, speaker of the next session enlightened the studentsabout various aspects of managing finance and concluded by appealing to the students to followgood principles which make them a good human being first before becoming a good professional.

    Prof. Sanjay Jerath, Head, MBA department of the college conducted a case analysis in the Post Lunch session involving a group activity to bring out the role of CEO in dealing with a typical real lifebusiness problem.

    The workshop is one of the series of workshops conducted by the institution to facilitate

    interaction of the students with eminent personalities from the Corporate with a view to enablethem get insight into the practical aspects of their theoretical learning.

    The event was organized by the MBA team comprising of Prof Swarnalata Philip, Prof AnjaliChandak, Prof Pranav Sumbha and Prof. Sapna Ghutke.
