What is the Business Community Engagement (BCE)?
The purpose of the DED Business Community Engagement
Initiative is to reach out to all business groupings and business
councils in a structured and systematic way for mutual
benefit. As the economy progresses and develops, we need a
coordinated and collaborative approach in our relationship.
Only then can the public and private sector benefit from new
ideas and develop them for the future economy.
Is embedded Govt. strategyDNA, additionally, the open nature of the economy, makes it
critical for industries to collaborate and engage actively with theGovernment.
Why BCE?
Open door policy and engagement plans provide an inclusive and vibrantprivate-public
participation eco-system.
As a best practice today, BCE is prioritized in the institution's official mission & in other key strategies,
with success indicators clearly identified.
