1914 – A male reported some-one tearing around at the Evan-gelical Church parking lot then taking off down Airport Road. He didn’t have a vehicle description, he could just hear it and saw the
dust cloud. At 1928, a deputy advised he patrolled Airport Road as well as the church and was un-able to locate the vehicle.
Sunday, Sept. 60042 – A caller reported a
party at the tent area with loud music. He stated they had a hand-gun out earlier but there were no shots. A deputy made contact. They were wound down and not making any noise.
0709 – A reporting party wanted to file a complaint about the neighbor in the apartment building. They were noisy from about 2230 until 0400 with yell-ing, cussing and loud music. He
was unable to sleep and at 0400, he moved to another part of the apartment. The officer spoke with the suspected party at 0716 and was warned if the officer had to come back for noise or otherwise, she would be getting citations.
0926 – A reporting party called in about a one-vehicle rollover truck. He stated there is one person with an injury. A deputy, Long Run Fire and MHP were notified. Long Run Fire Chief reported at 0949 when she went on scene the vehicle was on its tires and no one was left in the

vehicle. They were going to assist with the injured while waiting for the ambulance to get there. The landowner was also notified the fence was damaged in the area.
1312 – A reporting party called about a horse that was hanging around the entrance to his place. He states it isn’t a wild horse as it has pink leggings on and has a groomed and braided mane. He has haltered the horse and put it in a small holding pasture to keep it away from his horses until the owner can be found. The owner of the horse was contacted.
1523 – A reporting party called to see if anyone reported or turned in a green soft leather purse that was lost on Sept. 5. The last place they remember his wife having it was at the Marina. They called there and were not able to locate it. He was also told to call it in and have a report on it in case it got turned in.
1924 – A driver was asked to park an unregistered bike.
2029 – A male reported he hit a cow. He is not injured, the cow is dead and off the road. The truck does have major damage. Information was passed along to Daniels County as the accident is in their jurisdiction.
2216 – A male reported two people in the elevator behind his place working on something. An officer arrived and it was determined the people were field dressing birds they shot.
2301 –A suspicious vehicle was reported. A hit on the ve-hicle’s registered owner was received. The warrant was con-
firmed with MHP Dispatch and the warrant was served.
2306 – A suspicious vehicle was reported. A deputy respond-ed who stated there was no one around the vehicle.
2346 – A male reported his ex-wife came and walked in the house and saw another woman and flipped out. The male said she tipped over his smoker and grill and was drinking.
There were 18 motor vehicle stops, eight accidental/prank 911 calls, eight reports of loose/dead livestock, four reports of barking/lost/loose dogs and one request for a VIN inspection.
Monday, Sept. 70221 – A male is stuck in the
mud at Duck Creek. His boat is still on the ramp and wants Fish and Game to assist. A message for Fish and Game was left. Thomp-son and Sons responded.
0959 – A reporting party called in stating that while he was heading to work, he saw a full grown female sitting on the sidewalk in her underwear. When he went around the block to go back and see if she needed assistance, she was gone. An officer was notified who drove around the block and was unable to locate anyone.
1023 – A reporting party called in to report someone tried to break into his RV last night. He states when he was at the RV the day before to show it to his daughter, everything was fine. Today he noticed someone tried to pry the door open and messed up the keyhole. The information was passed along to a deputy who met the reporting party at the RV and collected a statement.
1325 – A female said her and her dog were attacked by two dogs about a block up from her residence. A description of the two dogs were provided.
1449 – A caller wanted to know how to get ahold of the Health Department as she was in-structed to do so. Her information was passed along to the Director of the Health Department.
1542 – A dead deer in the ditch in front of the yard was reported. The caller stated this is occurring almost on a weekly basis.
1754 – A drug offense was opened at a deputy’s request.
2025 – A male called and stated his ex-roommates won’t let him pick up his property from their apartment. He has moved to a new house and just wants to get his personal property and doesn’t want any trouble. He would like an officer to be there when he gets there. An officer advised officers don’t usually do “stand-bys” but given the issues of the other two individuals involved, he is going to stay to make sure the reporting party gets his belongings without incident. At 2102, the officer advised the male collected his belongings without incident.
Tuesday, Sept. 80210 – A female requested
a call about a situation in town. She did not want to divulge any details but stated it was about something deadly concerning dogs. An officer spoke to the reporting party, who sounded impaired. She was told to sober up and call the chief in the morn-ing. The female stated someone has 14 dogs but she can’t have chickens.
0807 – A warrant was served.0915 – A reporting party
was traveling on US Highway
2 between Zerbe Bros. and John Deere and could see a very large white plume of what she believed was smoke. She did not see flames. A deputy was notified who advised he drove the area and could not see anything. He also looked south with binoculars and can only see what appears to be low clouds that make it look like there is smoke. At 0939, deputy advised he was unable to find anything.
1219 – An officer requested a call to BNSF to let them know the train is blocking the crossing at 4th St. There are two semis backed up and the engine of the train is only near the underpass so it isn’t over by much.
1333 – A female said they have had a pickup blocking the entrance where they get deliver-ies since 0800 today. She pro-vided a description of the vehicle and is requesting an officer to come check the vehicle to see if they can get it moved. At 1339, the female called back to say a fe-male came out to the pickup and they had a conversation on how the vehicle can not be parked in front of the business for that long. The female stated it wasn’t her pickup, got in the vehicle and left.
1549 – A male, who wished to remain anonymous, stated there is yelling and a commotion, sounding as if someone is not allowing a person to leave the residence. At 1616, a deputy ad-vised who the subjects were and nothing physical occurred. They were just trying to get moved out.
2047 – A male reported that he hit a deer. He is not injured but believes there is about $1,000 worth of damage to his vehicle. Helena Highway Patrol and a deputy were notified.
2208 – A male said his sister told him there’s a vehicle ac-cident between Fort Peck and Park Grove, on the Fort Peck side of the bridge. A description of the vehicle was provided and it was noted the male driver is bent over the steering wheel. The caller stated he will head towards the accident. Helena Highway Patrol was notified as well as Long Run Fire in case the driver had to be extracted. Later it was determined the driver got out of the vehicle and is walking.
2256 – A reporting party called to say their client ran out of gas and needed assistance. An officer was notified who stated GPD does not offer roadside assistance. Dispatch called the man who was stranded and left a message stating they need to call roadside assistance.
Wednesday, Sept. 91206 – A man reported being
scammed out of $38,200 from the Online Marketplace. He said MRO Transport was advertising a motorhome for sale coming out of Wisconsin. The male contacted the company and completed the transaction with the intention that the motorhome would be deliv-ered to St. Marie last Friday. They contacted the male and said the truck broke down in Minnesota so they would contact him this week with an updated delivery time. He was told by them on Monday that it would be there the night before but it never ar-rived. The male has tried to call them several times today and they aren’t answering the calls. The information was passed along to a deputy.
1330 – A male reported two fifth wheels were trying to go under the underpass and he didn’t think they were going to make it and are holding up traffic.
1507 – A male called and stated he wanted to get a report from the Sheriff’s Office. He was transferred only to then be transferred back to dispatch. It was determined the male had hit a deer. He was patched up to Helena Highway Patrol.
1525 – A female called in stating a male went into her apart-ment and got his package but she had told him not to unless she was there also. She also stated his car is still parked at the apartments and he needs to move it. At 1547, an officer advised he spoke to the female. The package was actually on the front porch so the male did not go into the apartment.
1542 – A male reported three black SUVs are speeding and making bad passes. The vehicles were headed eastbound by Hins-dale. He stated one of the vehicles passed him in a 35 MPH zone do-ing about 70 MPH almost causing an accident. The caller doesn’t want to sign a complaint. Helena Highway Patrol, Sheriff’s Office and police were notified.
1615 – A deputy advised that Roosevelt County just picked up a male on a Governor’s Warrant. The deputy requested the Val-ley County warrant be faxed to Roosevelt County.
1640 – A male requested an
officer for a disturbance. He stated his girlfriend’s friend is there and the friend’s boyfriend tried to take the phone from her. He stated the boyfriend is giving him the finger but there are no weapons. A deputy responded.
1728 – A female called in stat-ing someone keeps texting her and harassing her. She doesn’t know who it is but wants it to stop. The number was provided of who the messages are coming from and it was determined it may be someone from Billings.
2135 – A male wanted to speak with an officer. He stated a female has been continuously harassing him and three of his friends. At 2224, an officer ad-vised he spoke with the male. It was advised if the male wants to pursue anything criminal against the female, he would need to talk to the county as the female now lives in Nashua.
Thursday, Sept. 100513 – A reporting party
called stating she couldn’t sleep. As she sat in her hot tub, she heard at least three gun shots. She doesn’t think hunters would be out at this time of night but thought she should call it in. At 0539, a male called in on 911 stating there were some boys out by the Dredge Cuts shooting guns. He went and confronted them however they ran, jumped in their vehicle and took off. A deputy was notified who located the vehicle. It was determined the males were rabbit hunting.
1733 – A male from Lakeridge called in stating he got a call from a man who stated they were look-ing for a tow for their boat. They are straight across from the Pines by Sage Creek Point and need a tow back to the Pines Area. The male from Lakeridge is there by himself and is unable to as-sist. A deputy was notified who stated it’s not a search and rescue situation so the male should call Thompsons to see if they will be able to assist.
1757 – A female with BNSF police called advising one of their trains advised there are two juveniles, one female, possibly between seven and eight years old, and one male, possibly early teens, having a picnic on the right of way. They would like them moved so they don’t get hurt. An officer patrolled all the way to 6th Street and didn’t see anyone matching the description along the tracks.
1912 – A male stated he got locked out of their room at the Star Lodge and stated there is no phone number listed around the building to call for assistance. Dispatch called the Star Lodge and received no answer. At 1918, the male called back and advised they were able to get in.
2039 – A female requested an officer at her residence. She stated about 20 minutes ago she was driving on US 2 near Agland, when a female in a dark colored vehicle flipped around and started screaming “You need to stop.” The female tried to hit the caller’s vehicle and is now following the caller around.
