COMMERCIAL LITIGATION, ARBITRATION, AND MEDIATION

Russo Law LLC has significant experience in complex litigation and arbitration, having

represented high-net-worth individuals, senior executives, small businesses, and large

institutions as both plaintiffs and defendants. When disputes arise, Lou partners with clients

to devise a thoughtful yet cost-effective strategy that resolves the dispute before litigation

ensues. However, if litigation becomes necessary, Russo Law LLC is involved from inception

through discovery, motion practice, trial and appeal, in both federal and state courts, and

in domestic and international arbitrations. Russo Law LLC also has extensive experience in

other forms of alternative dispute resolution, such as mandatory and voluntary mediation.

EMPLOYMENT, NON-COMPETES, AND TRADE SECRETS

Russo Law LLC represents clients with regard to the full spectrum of workplace and

employment matters from inception of the employment relationship through termination

and enforcement of post-departure employee obligations. Lou provides practical, reliable,

prompt advice to employers and employees regarding employment agreements, non-

compete / non-solicitation provisions as well as issues relating to wrongful termination and

retaliation, workplace harassment, and employment discrimination.

REAL ESTATE

Russo Law LLC helps clients resolve disputes concerning leases, commercial property

acquisitions, construction, financing and loan transactions (e.g., forbearance agreements,

loan workouts, and commercial loan servicing), distressed assets and derivatives. Russo Law

After being trained at several preeminent Am Law 100 firms, Lou

Russo founded RUSSO LAW LLC to provide clients with

sophisticated legal counseling at sensible rates.

Lou serves as a trusted legal advisor to domestic and international

clients facing complex legal challenges. He has successfully

represented countless clients, often brokering settlements that

allow them to invest their time and money in themselves and

their businesses rather than remaining mired in protracted

litigation. In those limited cases that cannot be resolved, Lou has

successfully tried cases in courts and private arbitrations.

He is regularly recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for

the NYC Metro area and has been named a Silver Client

Champion by Martindale-Hubbell in recognition of his

unwavering commitment to client service. Lou is an avid author

and speaker also serving as an adjunct professor of international

commercial arbitration at Hofstra Law.

Lou was an editor of the Hofstra Law Review and Vice President

of the Moot Court Association before graduating Hofstra Law

magna cum laude. He received his B.A. in Political Science (with a

minor in Biology) from Villanova University.
