Introduction of CO Function I

Basic Concept

Outgoing CO Route Group (max. 72/24) Incoming CO Route Group (max. 72/24) ARS (Alternative Route Selection) Each CO Group access code has 2 ARS and it could be serviced CO access code or CO route group AND (Automatic Network Dialing) Digit Conversion According to 9 class, digit converted (max.16-digit )

Introduction of CO Function II

Basic Concept

CDR (Call Duration Restriction) Dialing Mode Overlap & Enblock mode supported Transit Call Service LCR (Least Cost Routing) Calling Party Number Sending

Introduction of CO Function III

Basic Concept

Charging - Subscriber O/G - Transit O/G - Subscriber I/C - Transit I/C• Individual CO Access• Transit Service Selection option - CO - Direct - Subscriber

Introduction of CO Function IV

Basic Concept

Virtual Dial Tone with Dial Tone Digit Table (PGM240)

Emergency Call(PGM 258)

Digit AnalysisDigit Convert(PGM 251~2)

Digit RestrictionWith Toll Table

(PGM250)

Dial From Station/CO Destination

• LCR for Station – Digit conversion table can be assigned about each station. – LCR can be supported with Digit Conv. Table.

• DID for CO line – Digit conversion table can be assigned about each CO line. – Received Digits from PSTN can be converted to the internal/external Destination – LCR can be supported with transit call.

Digit Conversion

Digit Conversion Usage

Basic Concept

• 9 Digit Conversion Table is provided and there are 300 index in a table• Apply Type – Unconditional / Follow Day/Night/Timed / Follow LCR Time• DNT/LCR Time Table Index – Time table index of System Time Table, NOT ASG-STA/CO Time Table Index• Name – DID Name • Apply Option – All / Station / CO line/ Disable

Digit Conversion Table

Basic Concept

• DID – Digit Conv.(PGM251) • Normal – Ring Assign(PGM167) – DISA/CCR • ICLID – ALT CO Ring Table(PGM181) • Alternative Dest. – ALT Dest. (PGM169) Related to CAUSE

CO Ring & DID Flow

• DID – Service Type : DID – Check Digit Conv. Table

• Digit Conversion Table – Unconditional – Follow D/N/T – Follow LCR

• Destination – Station (with Delay Ring) – Station Group – CCR / Drop – VMIB – ATD Call – CO Access – Page – Speed – CONF Room

DID Service

DID Service

• If DID number is ‘3XXX’, it is converted to ‘1XXX’

• DID number is 3500, it is converted to ‘1000’ in Day, to ‘620-Station Group’ in Night, to ‘670001-CCR 1’ inTimed

• DID number is 3600, it can be routed to specific station, Hunt Group, or VMIB announcement according to the Day/Time zone.

• Set CO Service Type to ‘DID’

• Assign Digit Conversion Table index of CO line

Digit Conv. Table (PGM 251)

DID Example

DID Service

• Normal – Service Type : Normal – Check Ring Mode (DNT) – Follow CO Ring Assignment Table

• Destination – Station (with Delay Ring) – Station Group – Announcement Table(CCR) – Announcement Table and Drop – DISA Tone – Direct VM Transfer – Networking Number – Company Directory(USA Only) – Digits

• Related PGM – CO Ring Assignment (PGM167)

• Incoming call can be routed according to the Calling Party number.

- On System basis, calling party number is checked first (higher priority)

- On DN basis, calling party number is checked again (lower priority, PGM 71 each a station)

ICLID Routing

ICLID Service

• ICLID – Compare CLI – Check Ring Mode(DNT) – Alt Ring Table Index from ICLID Table – Follow Alternative Ring Table

• Destination – Assign Alt. CO Ring Table. – Station – Station Group – CCR – CCR Drop – DISA Tone

• Related PGM – ICLID Table (PGM262) – Alternative Ring Table (PGM181)

ICLID Service

ICLID Service

• Incoming CO Alternative service - Busy - No answer - Vacant - Transfer No Answer - Recall No Answer - DND - Out Of Service - Error

• Outgoing CO Alternative service - Recall No Answer - Transfer No Answer - No Answer

Alternative Service Destination

Alternative Service

• Incoming Alternative – Incoming Call can be rerouted to Alternative Destination according to CAUSE

• Related PGM – Incoming Alternative Destination (PGM169)

• Destination – Disconnect – Attendant – CO Ring Assignment – Alternative Ring Table – Tone – Pilot Hunt – Ring – Transfer Station

Incoming Alternative Service

Alternative Service

• Alternative CO Ring Table – System provides additional ring table except CO ring table. – It can be programmed as Alternative Destination, Holiday Destination, ICLI Destination. • Related PGM – Incoming/Outgoing Alternative Destination (PGM169, 173) – Alternative Ring Table (PGM181)

Alternative CO Ring Table

Alternative Service

• Round• Last• First

• Automatic Network Dialing Digit• ‘9’ is sent after CO line seized

• First (Second) Alternate CO Group Access code• CO Group Access code failed to find available CO line.

• Each CO Group Access Code allows user to access the CO group using different codes and different options.

CO Hold Recall

1. External party calls station 1000 and talks.2. Station 1000 holds the CO call by pressing [HOLD] button and goes on hook.3. External party hears ‘Normal Hold Tone (CO)’ (PGM 290 – 55) for the tone timer.4. If the tone timer expires, station 1000 receives a hold recall ring.5. If station is under No Answer Forward (Normal, Pilot Hunt, or Preset Forward),

call forward no answer timer (PGM 143 - 4) is assigned. (Default is 15 sec) If call forward no answer timer expires, call goes to the forward destination.

6. Otherwise, ‘Recall Ring (CO)’ (PGM 265 - 4) timer is assigned. If ‘Recall Ring (CO)’ timer expires, call follows “Recall No-Answer” destination of “Incoming CO Line Alternative Destination” (PGM 169)
