Also referred to as the Protégé, the process of pairing mentor and mentee begins with the latter realising a need

Definition

In Greek mythology, Mentor was a friend

and trusted counselor of Odysseus.

When Odysseus left for the Trojan War he

placed Mentor in charge of his son

Telemachus and of his palace.
