IV. The Problem and Solution
The common problems that the Escapade Campervans might face are labor,
cost control, customer satisfaction, cleanliness and comfortability for the guests.
First is the labor. Finding, training, scheduling, and managing staff is an ongoing
process. Controlling the labor costs is very important and can be a daily struggle
without a great team. In order to overcome that problem the company aims to find
a great team to keep the business going. Another is cost control. In order to avoid
circumstances like theft of money and product from guests and staff, the manager
or the person in charge should be aware. The invoices should be checked and
make sure that they are charged correctly. The inventories must be in line for
everything from paper, goods to linens to foods. Also the company might receive
complaints from the customers. This is where customer satisfaction enters. It is
normal but the company assures that they will notice every complaint that will
receive and fix the issues as soon as possible.
Cleanliness is one of the major problems that the company might face as
what they offer in accommodation. They cannot assure that all the guests who will
enter the van will leave it as clean as when they enter it. So the duty of the staff is
COLLEGE OF INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
to maintain the cleanliness of the van, every part of it to avoid complaints from the
guests. Lastly is the comfortability of the guests. Accommodation is what the
company offers. Their aim is to provide comfort for the guests during their trip. It is
the major problem that they will face. If they failed to give the comfort to the guests
need, they might lose them. In able to solve that problem, the company should
always check the maintenance of the van especially before the start of the trip.
Make sure to have tools in case of emergency for everyone’s’ safety. Also the
equipment inside the van should be checked regularly. The appliances too, check
if they are working properly. Especially the beds, linens, pillows, make sure they
are free from bed bugs for the comfort of the guests while sleeping. Problems are
just around the corner but with proper thinking and understanding, all things can be
solved.
V. Competition
In the business industry, there will be always rivalry or competition. The
Escapade Campervans possible competitions are the travel agencies and hotels.
COLLEGE OF INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
The advantage of a travel agency is that they offer package tours that are less
hassle for the travelers. Sometimes, they also have accommodations as inclusion
for the package. They also offer transportation and itineraries. While in hotels what
they have amongst us is the type of rooms they offer, the room service, and the
amenities that can be found in a normal hotel. What the Escapade Campervans
have against those competitors is the unique experience that their clients will have.
In travel agencies, there is fixed itinerary which the tourist will follow. They are only
given allotted time to visit one attraction while if they rent our campervan, they
have the freedom to choose their destination anytime they want to. They can enjoy
the destination as long they want. For the advantage in hotels, the campervan is
two in one (2 in 1) which offers both accommodation and transportation at the
same time. The clients will feel relaxed at the same time they can have an
overview of the beautiful sceneries while the van is moving.
VI. SOURCING AND FULFILLMENT
VII. TECHNOLOGY
The increased use of high technology has made an impact on everything
on Escapade campervan. They have extravagant equipment that surely will fit
COLLEGE OF INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
your needs. The modernized motor home of Escapade has a Wi-Fi Connection
which is consider a basic need that a human must have on their daily lives. Aside
from that they have cooking equipment which the customers will use while having
a trip. They have also a high standard television, a DVD player and a karaoke in
which they can sing lively with their family or friends these addends your
enjoyment while having a vacation. The equipment that escapade has is surely a
high technology.
VIII. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Office of the Philippines because of its uniqueness and it is new to the eye of the
Filipino netizens. The Escapade campervan is transportation and at the same
time an accommodation that will surely fits your budget. The interior design is
customized and even the exterior design is uniquely painted by the local artists.
But to have a patent there are lots of requirements to be done or accomplished.
IX. Future Products and Services
As of now the Escapade Campervan Company offers accommodation,
transportation and some Filipino dishes. As the owners want to expand their
COLLEGE OF INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
services for better customer satisfaction, they will offer other products in the future.
They will have additional vans so that they will be able to cater more clients who
want to experience the Escapade Campervans. Partnership with travel agencies is
another goal. For those foreign tourists who are first time to visit the Philippines can
avail a package tour with campervan as their transportation and accommodation.
Another is the foods to be served to the guests. The owners plan to add more
Filipino dishes that will satisfy the taste buds of the guests. This will give them more
options to choose from.

city has an advantage because it has a large number of customers and it could
increase revenue at the same time increased marketing exposure.

selling. In a motor van business their target market are those who have the ability to

said tour price includes 3D/2N accommodation and transportation per person.
COLLEGE OF INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
The price is allocated only for the first 200 kilometers. For every succeeding
kilometer the client must have additional payment of 24.00 pesos per person on
their total quantity cost. The price per succeeding kilometer was computed based
on the tour price and the 200 kilometers inclusion therein.
In times that the client wish to extend their tour, there is allotted cost for
every succeeding day in terms of accommodation. The rate was computed based
on the quantity cost of the campervan only subject to additional 70% marked up for
the reason that the campervan itself was the means of accommodation catered by
the company. The computed rate was 4, 622.35 per day regardless of the number
of persons booked.
