Project work
Project work is an organized, systematic and data-basedinvestigation of any activities or events within a specific situationwith the purpose of gathering and analyzing the data/informationthat helps to the researchers/students to know about thesituation or reality of the ground and can generate moreknowledge in the related field and activity or event.
It is a field based work
It is performed under the guidance of the supervisor
The project work passes through the inquiry, investigation,observation and examination.
The outcome of the project report is the discovery of the newfact and knowing the reality of social and business activities.

Exploratory Study
It is the preliminary step in which the main focus is on
achieving a clear view on the subject under
investigation
Exploratory studies are done to explore more
information about the problem as very few research
are made on the same problematic topic
Exploratory research are not formal but they are
unstructured
Examining existing literatures
Questioning knowledgeable individual and,
Examining a few selected case

Descriptive Study
It is the study that simply describes something
Ex. Demographic characteristics of employees, or a
profile or supplier, or the complaints regarding the
products by the customers.
The descriptive study is useful and most commonly
used design of field or project work
It is useful to describe the different aspects of the
situation
It helps to present the data in meaningful form

Case Study method
It is a method of project work where a unit of business orsociety or event is selected for the study.
The main purpose of case study is to examine the totalsystem and environment of the study unit.
While performing the case study the researcher mustcollect the data about the present status, pastexperiences and external and internal forces thatcontribute to the situation.
When the data are collected data analysis should bedone.
It can be done on the real business life or in socialsituation or in the field data and library case based onpublished data.

This method of project work is used to predict the
behavior of the human beings
Researcher should collect the data using
questionnaire either open ended or close ended from
respondents
Business organization use survey method to
understand the situation and solve the problem to
make plans or take a critical decisions.
Survey can be performed by using, interviews, mail
survey, personal interview etc.

Feasibility study
A study that is conducted to assess the potentiality of newideas scheme and business Is known as feasibility study.
It critically analyses the operational, technical, market,legal and cost benefit aspects of any projects or businessand tries to assess the potentiality of such projects andbusiness.
The scope of the study, time frame, information neededand the methodology to be used are to be decided inadvance.
Ex. Feasibility study can be done regarding, productionand market potential of new product, cost benefit analysisand situation of implementing the project/business inparticular area.
