  • 1. How to start using SafeEntry for Business

    Step 1: Download the SafeEntry (Business) Mobile App.

  • Step 2: Enter your mobile number to log in.

    Enter your mobile number and click “Send OTP” to receive a SMS One-Time Pin (OTP) sent to the mobile number.

    Note:

    If you encounter an error that says: “Log in failed too many times”, please wait 3 minutes and then try again.

  • Step 3: Enter the One-Time Pin (OTP) sent to your mobile number.

    Enter SMS OTP and click “Submit”

    Click “Resend OTP” if you did not receive your OTP

    Note:

    You should receive an SMS with an OTP to use for log in.

    If you do not receive an OTP, you can request for a new

    one by clicking the button.

    You can only request for OTP once every minute.

  • Note:

    You will receive your branch code after setting up your

    branch.

    Don’t know where to find the code? Ask your manager or

    admin staff to log on to

    Step 4: Enter branch code to start scanning visitors.

    4.1) Enter the branch code provided to you.

    4.2) Give a name to the entrance (or exit) where staff is checking-in/out visitors (e.g. “Front entrance”). Click “Submit” to start checking in visitors.

  • Click on "Switch Mode" to select the “Check-in” or “Check-out” traffic flow.

    Using SafeEntry for Business Mobile App (iOS/Android)Step 5: Select a traffic flow. Choose “Entry (Check-in)” or “Exit (Check-out)” and start scanning.

    How to select a traffic flow:

    Click on “Switch” if you need to change from “Entry (Check-in)” to

    “Exit (Check-out)”.

    Use “Entry (Check-in)” to scan visitors entering the location.

    Select “Exit (Check-out)” to scan visitors leaving the location.

    Note: In order for visitor count to be accurate, you will need to set

    up “Scan Exit” to scan visitors leaving the location.

  • If the ID barcode/Token QR code cannot be scanned, use the “Enter NRIC manually” feature to capture ID details.

    You can also use this mode to capture passport numbers of Foreign ID holders.

    Step 7: Use “Enter ID number manually” mode if you are unable to scan the ID barcode/Token QR code.

  • GREEN: If the check-in is successfully recorded, you will see a confirmation in green, along with the last 3-digits of the NRIC.

    Using SafeEntry for Business Mobile App (iOS/Android)

    RED: If the visitor is not permitted to enter due to the check-in restrictions enabled by

    the business, the error message in red will appear.

    If you allow the visitor to check in, click on “Check in anyway” to capture their NRIC for contact tracing.

    Select “Deny entry” if you do not allow the visitor to enter the premises.

    Step 8: Look out for Success or Error message.

  • 2. Using SafeEntry for Business(for TraceTogether-only venues)

  • Log in to SafeEntry (Business) App to start scanning.

    Check-in is successful: a confirmation in green with the last 3-digits of NRIC number is shown.

    If Token QR code is blurred or not working, you will see an error in yellow.

    An alert will appear if the visitor scanned a photo ID instead of a TraceTogether Token.

    Note: Staff should inform visitor to install TraceTogether App or collect a Token to check in at this venue before denying or allowing entry.

    Option 2: Allow entry this time (Temporary option available to give visitors time to install TraceTogether App or collect Token for future check-ins)

    your business

  • Check the total number of people that have visited a branchStep 4: After log in, you will find the visitor count on your homepage.

    Total number of visitors for the day.

    Number of visitors currently in the venue.

    Note:

    “Total visitors” visitor count is based on total number of visitor

    check-in that have been registered in SafeEntry.

    “Visitors Now” visitor count is the total number of visitors at

    your branch right now. This count will not be accurate if you have

    not implemented check-out flow. To find out more about how to

    set up your check-out flow by setting up an exit along with your

    entrance, visit this section to learn more

  • 4. How to switch between different branch locations for SafeEntry

  • Note:

    If your last log in was within the past 3 minutes,

    you need to wait 3 minutes to log in to the same

    business account again.
