    Cables and assemblies for robotic applications

    LEONI develops and manufactures everything from indivi-

    dual wires to complete cable systems in house. Where others

    have to look around for a suitable supplier, we already have

    the complete solution ready to go.

    We have particularly strong copper alloys. We do our own tin, silver,

    and gold plating. And we manufacture our own stranded conduc-

    tors and can utilize our own plastics production facilities, which

    supply optimum insulation mixtures. Additionally, LEONI’s data cable

    manufacturing operations provide an entire range of glass and plastic

    optical fibers.

    It goes without saying that we have good command of every aspect

    of cable production. Extruders for extremely thin-walled but sturdy

    insulation, high-performance braiding machines and banding

    systems for shielding, and precision cabling machines for optimum

    electrical and mechanical characteristics – you name it, we have

    every capability required for manufacturing high-tech cables.

    Usually, our job is not done when the cable is finished. As a system

    supplier offering a perfect total solution, we also develop and manu-

    facture optimized connecting hardware, brackets, and mounting

    hardware; and we integrate electronic and electromechanical compo-

    nents and assemble the entire package into a ready-to-fit module.

    LEONI dresspack LSH-line

    For automated production processes where industrial robots

    are used for precise and highly dynamic movements, LEONI

    stands for quality, innovation and service with the know-how

    of more than 60,000 robot dresspacks installed worldwide.

    With the LEONI dresspack LSH-line we offer you a new system for

    perfectly guided, adjustable-length dresspacks for industrial robots.

    A specially designed casing guides the dresspack from axes 3–6 at

    variable lengths. A spring retraction system, inside the casing, adjusts

    the length of the dresspack. Other individual components such as

    the strain relief, cable and tightening clamps are fitted as part of the

    complete system.
