In today's rapidly progressing world, we are well aware of the relevance and limitations of textbook and home work methods of learning. What is taught becomes effective only when it is properly co-ordinate with how it is taught; this programme is developed as an alternative approach to teaching and aims at making both teaching and outdoor learning enjoyable and useful. The programme is deliberate departure from usual CLASSROOM method of teaching; nature games complement the activities to enhance student’s perception and objectivity. We fell this helps in easier visualization and understanding of obstruct concepts and develops the ability in student to express themselves with greater confidence.  

The Organization Butterfly Ecotourism is huge dynamic community constituting lovers of nature. We organizes numerous multidimensional activities and dynamism at both school as well as higher education level, it seeks contribution and co operation to same sort of young masses for its survival and flourish. It involves many activities by arranging nature education camps, plantation, trekking, observation of wildlife and birds, and series of nature conservation programme..

One Day Nature and Science Education Trip Dharampur & Faladhra

  Places :- Dharampur Science Center, Museum,

Planetarium, Barumal, Wilson Hill, Faladhara (Boating).

  Schedule:-

Morning 8:30 am departure from School. 9:00 am arrival at Dharampur – Science Centre.

(After Breakfast Visit to Science Centre, Planetarium & Museum)

After Lunch visit to Faladhra for Boating, Visit to Barumal & Wilson Hill..

7:15 Departure for School.

Activities:-  Nature & Biodiversity Education, Bird watching,

Jungle Trekking, Boating, Nature Education film show, Games/Quiz.

One Night Two Days Trip Waghai, Sabridham & Saputara

  Places – Vansada, Waghai, Gira fall, Sabridham & Saputara  Schedule:- (Day 1)  Morning 6:30 am departure from School. 8:30 am arrival at Kilad Camp site. (After Breakfast River bath, Jungle trail, Rope Activity& Games) After Lunch Visit to Gira water Fall, Waghai Botanical Garden, Tribal Village Visit ( Ambapada). Dinner, Campfire and night stay at Sabridham.

  (Day 2) After breakfast and Sabridham Darshan Depart for Saputara. Saputara ( Boating, Museum, Ropeway ride & Lunch) 5:30 pm Departure for School.

Two Nights Three Days Trip Jambughoda (Wildlife Sanctuary) & Shivrajpur Range  Places – Jambughoda (Wildlife Sanctuary), Shivrajpur Range   Schedule:- (2Nights & 3 Days) Morning 6:00 am departure from School. 11:30 am arrival at Camp Site. Visit to Sloth bear Sanctuary, Nature – wetland trail, Jungle Lunch, Rope activities, Nature Games, Nature Quiz. Bird watching, Jungle Tracking, Campfire, Group Orientation. Biodiversity session - Knowledge of Natural Heritage, Flora & Fauna of Region.

4:30 pm Departure for School.

MANALI

MANALI IS SYNONYMOUS WITH STREAMS AND BIRDSONG, FORESTS AND ORCHARDS

AND THE GRANDEUR OF SNOW-CAPPED MOUNTAINS. ACCORDING TO LEGEND ITS

NAME IS DERIVED FROM MANU AND ALAYA. HIMACHAL’S MAIN TREKKING AREAS ARE THE DHAULDHAR AND

PIRPANJAL RANGES, MANALI IS A MOST FASCINATING PLACE OF THE KULLU VALLEYS,

ENCIRCLED BY SNOW PEAKS AND THE CONSTANT ROAR OF THE BEAS RIVER AS OUR

BEST COMPANION.

THE CAMP SITE

The camp site areas gives a heavenly feel with the surrounding natural beauty shared by mountains, temples, variety of trees of oak and forest of Himalayan cedar ‘Deodar’ and spruce with its flora & fauna – Apple and Plum grown in the region

CAMP ACTIVITIES ( Create your Nature):

This programme will provide you an opportunity of –

Trekking through forest, Observing the sky, birds, snow peaks, River crossing Snow crafting, Bathing in streams of the mountain, Performing in camp-fire, Writing diaries, Taking photographs, Collecting specimen and sharing experience with friends, Increasing confidence and self worth, Exploring personal limits are all as a part of the camp activities.

Accommodation will be in tents and cottages as per programme. Separately for Boys and Girls participants under due-care. Constructed clean toilets and bathrooms are provided.

Food would be Nutritious and Vegetarian and suitable to camp programme.

Camp Duration – Normally the camp programme will be of 5 nights and 6 days in Manali.
