Founded in Accrington, United Kingdom our company has its origins in 1864, trading as Entwisle & Kenyon making manual washing machines and mangles.

Ewbank designed the first Ewbank branded carpet sweeper in 1889. It became the most popular product of its type in Britain, where carpet sweeping became known as “ewbanking”.

Now in the present, Ewbank is still selling carpet sweepers but also other products, including floor polishers, vacuum cleaners, shampooers and steam cleaning solutions, all at affordable prices, meaning that Ewbank is still the practical solution to everyday cleaning.

Ewbank has always been associated with high quality, high performance cleaning products at affordable prices to the consumer.
