TRIAL INFORMATION

Your wedding day is a day you’ve always dreamed of and how you feel about

how you look plays a huge roll in the day. We believe it is essential to go into

your wedding day already having a vision of what you’re going to look like.

Although a trial is not required, to ensure a flawless and relaxed wedding day

experience we do encourage it. This allows you and your artist/stylist the

opportunity to get to know each other ahead of time and to make sure the style

you’ve been dreaming of fits you and your hair type. You wouldn’t buy a

wedding dress without trying it on first, so you shouldn’t go into your wedding

day without trying on your bridal glam first.

Since we make a commitment in scheduling a trial and we do not schedule any

events on the same day, we do require a similar process as booking a wedding

date. A retainer must be collected to secure your trial date (price subject to

location), as well as a signed agreement. Before or after your trial: We will

send you your personalized bridal contract for the wedding day deposit. Once

received, you will have up to 5 days to return both items. Your wedding date

will only be placed on hold for those 5 days. Once both have been returned,

your wedding date is officially reserved!

*Trials are exclusive to brides. We do not provide trials for bridal party/ family members.

BOOKING YOUR WEDDING DATE

A 50% non-refundable deposit and a signed contract is required to book your

wedding date. The deposit will be deducted from the brides final balance on the

wedding day. If you are inquiring within 2 weeks of the wedding date, the

contract & deposit is required upfront.

5 SERVICE MINIMUM

When you reserve your wedding date, you are reserving the entire date. We

will not book more than 1 wedding per day. For this reason, weddings bookings

must meet a 5 service minimum (eligible for exception depending on location).

In the event of a cancellation, the bride will be responsible for filling the spot or

covering the balance to reflect to required service minimum. Flower girls and bridal trials are not applicable to the service minimum.

BRIDAL TRIALS

You are more than welcome to have your bridal trial before booking. If you are

waiting until after your bridal trial to reserve your wedding date, the wedding

date will still be available to be booked by other brides. Bridal trials are

separate from wedding day services, therefore they are not included in the

wedding day rate or applicable to the service minimum. Trials are exclusive to

brides. We do not provide trials to bridal party/family members.

BRIDAL PARTY SIZE | ASSISTANTS & MULTIPLE STYLISTS

For large bridal parties or wedding day timelines with time constraints, an

assistant or additional stylist may be necessary. An assistant or additional

stylist is available for a hiring fee of $100.00 & travel (if applicable) for the

stylist/assistant. In most cases, an assistant will be necessary for parties of 7

or more (depends on timing & schedule). There must be a minimum of 10

services for an additional stylist to accompany your artist and stylist on the

wedding day. Flower girls are not applicable to the service minimum.

RATES

All rates posted are final. Desired hairstyle, hair length, or hair thickness will

not result in a change of pricing.

TRAVEL

The furthest distance of travel we offer is 80 miles or 2 hours from

LEESBURG, VA 20136. The earliest time Brenda and her team are available to

begin travel on the wedding day is 7:00am. If a second stylist or an assistant is

accompanying, a second travel fee will be apply. Any parking fees and tolls will

be added to the travel fee on the day of for reimbursement.

FAQ

WHEN SHOULD I RESERVE MY WEDDING DATE?

Wedding dates during the peak season months of April-November can fully

book up 9-12 months in advance. Weddings are booked on a first come, first

served basis and a contract and deposit is required to reserve the date.

AFTER I INQUIRE, DOES MY WEDDING DATE GO ON HOLD?

We will not hold a date without a contract and deposit. The only time a wedding

date is placed on a soft hold is for 5 days after a contract and deposit invoice is

received. If the contract and deposit is not submitted within those 5 days, the

wedding date will become available again for booking. If you still want to

reserve the date after the 5 day period, a new contract and invoice will need to

be issued however the date will not be placed on hold again.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU BOOK WEDDINGS?

We are currently accepting bookings for 2020.

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE MY WEDDING DATE?

A signed contract and 50% non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is required

to reserve your wedding date. The deposit will be deducted from the final

balance on the wedding day.

ON THE WEDDING DAY, HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE PER

PERSON?

The bridal style is a 1 appointment time and everyone else will be scheduled

for 45 minutes to 1 hour per person. If any bridesmaids, mothers, or attendants

are wearing hair extensions, an extra 15 minutes or more will need to be

applied to their appointment time.

WHEN DO YOU RECOMMEND AN ASSISTANT TO BE BROUGHT?

All bookings include ONE makeup artist and ONE hair stylist. The larger the

bridal party, the longer the schedule will be. If you have a short getting ready

time from or a party of 7 or more, an assistant will be needed.

DO YOU COME TO ME OR DO I COME TO YOU?

All trial and wedding day services will take place at the location of the brides

choosing. We do not have a studio.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM WAITING FOR MY BRIDAL TRIAL TO

RESERVE MY DATE, BUT ANOTHER BRIDE INQUIRES ABOUT

THE SAME DATE PRIOR TO MY SCHEDULED BRIDAL TRIAL?

Weddings are booked on a first come, first serve basis. If another bride inquires

on the same date, you will be notified immediately via email. You will have the

opportunity to proceed with reserving the date upfront and your wedding date

will be placed on a soft hold for 24 hours. After 24 hours the wedding date will

be fully available for the new bride to book.

WHY DOES THE BRIDE COST MORE THAN THE REST OF THE

BRIDAL PARTY?

Bridal styles are more elaborate, detailed, and have a longer service time.

IF I HAVE SHORTER OR LONGER HAIR, WILL THE PRICING

CHANGE?

All rates posted are final and rates will not increase or decrease based on the

length of hair.

DO YOU REQUIRE A SERVICE MINIMUM?

Wedding day bookings must meet a 5 service minimum (eligible for exceptions

depending on location).

WHAT IF I DONT MEET THE SERVICE MINIMUM? DO YOU MAKE

EXCEPTIONS?

When a bride books the wedding date, she is reserving the entire date. We will

not book more than 1 wedding per day. For this reason a service minimum is

required but we may be able to make an exception depending on location and

availability).

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Venmo, Paypal, and Cash. We do not accept checks.

WHAT IF I HAVE TO CHANGE MY WEDDING DATE BUT HAVE

ALREADY SUBMITTED A CONTRACT AND DEPOSIT?

Deposit are non-transferable. When you are reserving your wedding date, you

are reserving that specific date. If you need to change your wedding date for

any reason, you will need to submit a deposit and sign a new contract for the

new wedding date and you will not be refunded the original deposit.

SHOULD MY HAIR BE CLEAN OR DIRTY?

Please arrive for your styling with CLEAN HAIR. If the hair is greasy, the style

will look greasy. The rule of thumb is if you think your hair needs dry shampoo,

it is too dirty. The oils from dirty hair can cause the hair to burn from the heat

of a curling iron.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CANT MAKE IT?

Although it has yet to happen, in the event of severe sickness, accident, or

severe reasons beyond control, Brenda may be subject to unavailability. If this

is the case, other freelancing artists through BW Beauty will complete such

services.

ARE YOU ABLE TO TRAVEL TO 2 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS?

Yes. A $25.00 relocation fee and additional travel mileage will be applied per

styling/assistant.

HOW MANY WEDDINGS A DAY WILL YOU BOOK?

When you reserve the wedding date, you are reserving the full date. We will

only take one wedding per day. This is also why we implement a service

minimum.

WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?

The remaining payment for the entire wedding party is due 7 days before

event. Any additional fees such as travel fees, parking, and tolls are all due the

day of the wedding. Upon request, we are able to send an invoice if you would

like to cover the balance prior to the wedding day.

BRIDAL TIPS

• Have a clean, moisturized and exfoliated face for your trial and wedding

day.

• Wear a moisturizer that does not have SPF as this increases flashback in

pictures.

• Find inspiration images similar to your hair color and hair length so that

you can have a clear vision on what the style will look like on you.

• You should have clean hair for your trial and wedding date. Styling works

best on hair that isn’t too greasy so that we can apply the necessary

products without weighing the hair down.

• If you plan on wearing hair extensions, it is very important that you’re

prepared with them at your trial.

• Wear a white shirt and bring the jewelry you plan on wearing.

• If you are growing your hair out for your wedding day, schedule your trial

closer to the date so we have a better idea of how it will be on the day of

the wedding.
