Step 1

1. If you want to make a P.B. and J. (peanut butter and jelly) sandwich, you need ingredients and equipment. You have to grab a plate, 2 knives, a jar of peanut butter, a jar of jelly, and 2 slices of bread.

Step 2

2.Second, you put the slices of bread flat on the plate; it doesn’t matter what side it’s on.

Step 3

3. Next, you grab a knife and stick it, sharp part faced down, in the opened peanut butter jar (To open it, unscrew the cap); make sure you stick the knife about half way in.

Step 4

4. You, then, scrap the sides of the jar and pull the knife out of it; it should have a chunk of peanut butter on it.

Step 5

5. After that, you spread the peanut butter evenly (with the sharp part of the knife) on one of the slices of bread, but do not spread it outside of the slice.

Step 6

6. You grab you other knife and stick it, sharp part faced down, in the jelly jar because we do not want cross contamination.

Step 7

7. You spread the jelly (with the sharp part of the knife) evenly on the other slice of the bread, but (again) do not spread the jelly outside of the slice.

Step 8

8. You take both of the bread slices, then hold them flat on your hands; remember, when holding, you can see the jelly and the peanut butter on top of the bread.

Step 9

9. You put the slices together; the jelly slice should evenly match up with the peanut butter slice, and once you put them together, you can’t see the peanut butter or the jelly.
