It is quite amusing and inter- esting to look at all the intriguing combinations people put together, but where do all these trends come from? The answer is from around the entire world. London, England is the biggest fashion capital in the world. Kate Middleton was a big attraction for top fashion icons across the globe. Of course, the second place award goes to New York City. New York City just recently kicked off their Fashion Week. Styles can come from anywhere and spread very quickly. Some recent popular styles are graphic animal tees. These can be purchased at almost any store, including Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters. Black and white striped jackets are also a big hit. Galaxy print leggings are appearing fre- quently in stores around the world. Fashion trends come and go, but some return after years past. Several people have noticed 80’s style clothing coming back. High-waist clothing is definitely in! Skirts, shorts, and even pants can be found in the high-waist style. Fashion is a big part of the world, and interests many people of all ages. Take the time to look around at upcoming new styles, and keep up to date with the most recent trends, or spice it up and create an individual style. This look is great but it may be time to put up the studs and throw on the pearls. I n today’s day and age, fashion is becoming more and more important to society, but is also more expensive than ever. A solution to this problem is available. Bargain shopping is a quick, simple way to fill closets without emp- tying wallets. This method of shopping requires an open mind and a search of the outermost corners of the store. Sales and clearance racks are the best places to start. Check the price tags, compare similar items, and set a goal for the money that should be spent. Consignment shops are also a great place to go with brand name clothing for up to ninety percent off. The deals just cannot be beat. They carry all kinds of items, from maxi skirts and high-waist- ed shorts to formal dresses and heels. Similar styles and more can be found on H&M’s new website, which gives customers a twenty percent discount on their second purchase and is quickly rising in popularity. For back to school jeans, one reliable brand is American Eagle. There are multiple styles, whether you like skin- ny or flare, and sales are always going on for different items. Most people know the shoe brand Keds. They recently released their own clothing brand with things for both guys and girls. Urban Outfitters is also a rising brand in teens, becoming more well-known locally because of the introduction to a new location in Knoxville. So whatever the season or biggest trend, everyone has a place to shop for the things they want to look their best.
