Colombia

Bogotá is the largest city in Colombia. It looks very modern and similar to cities in NA, but still contains its Spanish culture. It

also contains one of the largest moorlands in the world.

Cali has a large focus on sports, and hosts several spot competitions

throughout the year. One time in 1956, 7 trucks filled with 42 tons of dynamite exploded and killed over 1000 people and destroyed over 8

city blocks. Cali is located in a valley, it it surrounded by mountains which

give several good scenery spots.

It is the second largest city in

Colombia, and has several downslopes

and steep streets since parts of it are resting on hills and mountains. Since

quite recently, Medellin has

majorly increased its population

Feijoa comes from the trees and shrubs in the Myrtaceae Family. It is a edible fruit that is

also called pineapple guavas. It tastes sweet, like candy.

Pandebono is a bread made from corn flour, cassava starch, cheese and eggs. It is often eaten with hot

chocolate and is best when hot.

Manjar Blanco is a general phrase for delicacies that are milk based. Its

specific meaning is a vanilla bean and sugar pudding.

Arepa is a tortilla made from flatbread and can have many different ingredients like a

taco would.

Carlos Vives is a Colombian singer,

actor and composer. In 1991 he received a TV job in Colombia.

world wide.

Bogotá Colombia. Their rock is a mix of Colombian and Latin American traditions. The band toured the United states 6 years ago and has received

multiple recognitions.
