How Store Owners are AffectedMany of the plants on the White are sold at

aquarium stores. Most of the plants on the Red list are not sold

at aquarium stores because they are illegal to own and sell or they are so invasive that nobody buys then because they are so hard to get rid of.

If plant can not be sold then stores struggle financially.

Red List The Wetland Nightshade should remain on the Red list because

they invade wetlands and are nearly impossible to get rid of. Scientific Name- Solanum tampicense It is not sold at aquarium stores so it would not affect them

financially. Forms extensive impenetrable thickets in remote areas. Originates from the West Indies, Mexico, and Central America. Noxious Weed Cutting it back is ineffective for control because they reproduce

from the root. Lack of natural enemies Thrives in full shade and full sunlight Very invasive because it can live in many different wetland areas.

ConclusionIn conclusion most of the plants that

aquarium store owners want to keep selling are the ones on the white list which are not causing a lot of problems. Most aquarium store owners agree with keeping most of the Red list plants on the Red list because they don’t sell them because they are either illegal or nobody wants to buy them because they are impossible to get rid of.
