The career day was the culmination for the March's counseling theme of college and career readiness. The purpose was to help students to understand the relationship between education and the world of work and also to help students know that even in elementary school, he or she is preparing for his or her college or career. During the morning session, speakers rotated to kindergarten-second grade classrooms. In the afternoon, the third through fifth graders came to the gym where the speakers had booths and they rotated to each speaker.
