In light of exponential advances in learning technologies for students and teachers, Tony Ryan will offer strategies for implementing the very latest learning technologies in your school and provide insight on the
digital challenges for educators.
Following this, teachers Jennifer Holt and Lachlan Stockbridge will present current practices in their classroom utilising pre-existing technologies to enhance learning outcomes. Please feel free to bring your

Tony Ryan
Tony Ryan is a consultant and writer, and offers professional support to
educational and corporate organisations throughout the world on issues
such as innovative thinking and future-proofing. He has presented over
1500 keynotes and workshops at state, national and world conferences
in the past 15 years. Tony is a prolific author of material on effective
thinking and learning. This material includes Thinkers Keys for Kids,
Mindlinks, Wrapped In Living, Brainstorms, Thinkfest and The Clever
Country Kits.
Jennifer Holt
Jennifer Holt has been working at The Scots College, for the last 6 years
as a Design and Technology teacher. She has developed extensive
experience using a wide range of technologies in a variety of learning
environments, in particular using hand held devices. In 2009 Jennifer was
sponsored as a delegate to USA for the International Technology
Engineering Educators’ Association (ITEEA) Conference and in the same
year awarded the Teachers’ Guild of New South Wales for Excellence in
Teaching for early career educators.
Lachlan Stockbridge
Lachlan Stockbridge is a teacher of 7 years’ experience and
product of the digital age. As a member of the English Faculty
at Trinity Grammar School, he has dedicated significant time
towards training teachers through professional development
workshops and developing pedagogically sound strategies for
incorporating technology into the classroom, by building and
adapting from traditional models, rather than disregarding
them.

Parking:
There is complimentary parking available in the school grounds. Entry to car park is located on Victoria Street.
Terms and Conditions
1. Pricing for members is for (a) current financial members of the Teachers’ Guild of New South Wales, and (b) authorized employees of current financial corporate members of the Guild.
2. Payment is required at the time of booking. Refunds for withdrawal will be considered only if the request is received at least seven (7) days prior to the event. Non-attendance will not be grounds for a refund.
3. Patrons from whom no registration has been received who arrive at an event will be admitted at the discretion of the Guild. Admission will be on the understanding that full payment is promptly made, without the necessity of the Guild providing an invoice.
4. Booking forms include space to request catering for special dietary requirements. If no such request is received, patrons cannot expect to have special meals or foods available.
5. Photographs taken at Guild events may be published on our website, Facebook page or elsewhere. Patrons who do not wish to have their photograph so published are required to indicate this clearly to a Guild Council members, ensuring that their name is clearly understood and noted…
