Animal*My animal is called Golden eagle.They are extremely swift,and can dive upon their prey at speeds of more than 150 miles (241 kilometers) per hour.Golden eagles use their speed and sharp talons to snatch up rabbits,marmots,and ground squirrels.They also eat carrion,reptiles,birds,fish,and smaller things such as large insects.Golden eagles fold their wings to dive for prey.When diving ,a golden eagle can fly up to dive 190 km/h (120 miles per hour).They have gold on their whole neck,700 feathers and they also have a carved beak.They could see 2 or 3 times better then a human.It also uses the talons to catch their heavy prey.They have large,powerful wings with brown feathers .

*Habitat*It almost lives anywhere in the wild.They

need tall trees or cliffs for nesting and good areas for hunting hares,rabbits,marmots,and ground squirrels.Golden eagles live in north America,Northern Africa,Asia,and Europe because there is hares,rabbits,marmots,and ground squirrels there.Golden eagle pairs maintain territories that may be as large as 60 square miles (155 square kilometers).It also lives in human structures such as telephone poles.They build huge nests to which they may return for several breeding years.They live in mountains,canyons,scrub,and grasslands.

*Food chain*Starting with the sun.The sun gives energy to the yummy

grass.Then the hare,deer,marmot,rabbits, and ground squirrels eats the delicious grass.The golden eagles eats antolpes,hare,deer,marmot,rabbit, and ground squirrel.They also eat carrion,reptiles,birds,fish, and smaller thing such as large insects.They eat large rodents,small mammals,grouse and other birds.

*My animal is a carnivore, it likes to eat meat like antelopes, hares,rabbits,marmots,and ground squirrels.They have even known to attack a full grown deer.They dive to get their prey.I know that golden eagles are carnivore because it eats meat.Golden eagles hunt alone.

*Adaptations and behavior*Golden eagles live in high cliffs and trees for hunting

good.They live in high cliffs and trees because they could snatch up to prey.They adapt to surrounding by migrating when there is no food.When golden eagles are going to lay eggs they make a huge nest.

because in Laos humans shoot them with shotguns even my dad.Golden eagles are extinct by getting killed.I think we could we could stop killing golden eagles and let them free because golden eagles are beautiful birds.We should feel sad because if all golden eagles die the predator of it can’t find it and if the predator will not eat it then it dies too.Next the predator that dies the predator of it can’t find it and if the predator that dies the predator of it can’t find then boom it dies then so on.Some humans kill golden eagles for food so they could survive like Laos people they kill them.Then cut them in slices in rectangle.Next they eat them.Ranchers once killed many of these birds for fear that they would prey on their livestock,but studies showed that the animal’s impact was minimal.
