From the Pastor: The calling of the fishermen Simon (Peter) and his brother, Andrew, and James and his brother, John, along the Sea of Galilee sets into motion the plan that Jesus had in order to begin His public teaching for the people of God. Jesus wanted to establish His disciples or a close circle around Him that would travel with Him and learn from Him in order to pre-pare them to carry on the mission. Just like when God sent Jonah to Nineveh to call the people back to God, Jesus continues to invite others to share in God’s plan for the salvation of the world. We ask God to teach us His ways, so we too may be disci-ples of Jesus in our time. Are we ready to say “yes”

and go?? Jesus’ coming was all about changing this world, let us join Him with all that we are.

You are invited to partake in the first-ever North Dakota March for Life, taking place at the North Dakota State Capitol on January 29, 2021. To begin the event on January 29, Bish-op Kagan will celebrate Mass at 11:00 AM for the general public at the Cathedral Following Mass, groups are welcome to march (or drive) to the Capitol grounds for a program begin-ning at 12:30 PM to include a keynote speaker and a period of silence for the 62 million lives who have been silenced by abortion in the United States since 1973.
