a gecko grips the ground, feeling its way, enjoying the heat and the sureness of nature

this building, like the gecko, has its belly on the ground - it is within the visceral

the concept of a building that has been affected by the strong winds, blown over, distorted and strained

looking like an animal ready to flee at any moment solid yet light, distinctly man made

the snake is fundamental to the indigenous understanding of the world - the concept of contour influenced by the ground but tempered by the need for direction is expressed in the form that the snake scribes
