地元の飲食店と提携し、酢・味噌・醤油と知多半島の食材をあわせた「はんだ醸すごはん」で、醸造品の魅力をＰＲしています。また、亀崎の家庭の味と称される「串あさり」や全国的にも高い評価を受ける「知多牛」といった地域特産品の発信を積極的に行っています。Handa City is promoting the attractiveness of brewed products with Handa kamosu gohan (food made with vinegar, sake, miso, and soy sauce in combination with ingredients from the Chita Peninsula) in partnership with local eateries. In addition, Handa City is actively disseminating regional special products, such as kushiasari (dried clams thoroughly dried in sunlight), known as a home-made taste in Kamezaki, and Chita cattle that is highly evaluated nationwide.

半田市は陸海空の輸送インフラが豊富に揃っています。知多半島を縦断する「知多半島道路」、三河方面へ繋がる「衣浦トンネル」「衣浦大橋」、大型船も受け入れ可能な「衣浦港」、そして「中部国際空港」が隣接し、県内のみならず世界との商取引にも有利な企業立地に適した環境となっています。現在では、伝統的な地場産業である醸造業、畜産業から鉄鋼、金属製品をはじめ、先端技術を取り入れた自動車関連産業やアジアＮｏ．1航空宇宙産業クラスター形成特区として指定されている航空宇宙産業が発展するなど、経済変動に強い多種多様な産業構成となっています。Handa City has plenty of land, sea, and air transport infrastructure. The infrastructure includes Chitahanto Road, which crosses the Chita Peninsula, Kinuura Tunnel and Kinuura Ohashi Bridge in the direction of the Mikawa area, and the port of Kinuura that can accept huge vessels. Furthermore, Chubu Centrair International Airport is located close to Handa City. It has an environment suitable for corporate location advantageous for commercial transactions not only within the prefecture but also with the world.Currently, Handa City has a diversified industrial structure that withstands economic fluctuations, where the aerospace industry has been growing since Handa City was designated as Japan’s Special Zone to Create Asia’s Number One Aerospace Industrial Cluster, besides the development of the automotive industry incorporating advanced technology as well as the traditional local brewery, livestock, and steel and metal product industries.
