The parish of the Holy Innocents in Brooklyn is a blessed multicultural community. We exist to proclaim, witness and celebrate the presence of Christ in the community through evangelization and Liturgical cele-brations. We are committed to fos-ter a strong spirituality, a sense of stewardship, responsible leadership by promoting unity, social justice and peace. We seek guidance from the Holy Spirit to achieve our mis-sion as Disciples of Christ.

A letter to my beloved parishioners from your new Administrator. As you may have heard, Fr. Borno is no longer at the parish. He is presently living in another Rectory, still serving in the Diocese of Brooklyn. I have been appointed by Bishop DiMarzio temporarily as the Administrator. I have known Holy Innocents for many years - may I serve you in the Lord. Please pray that I will serve you well.

We are all suffering in this unprecedented time. I too am alone and passing my days in dread. But we raise our eyes to Jesus and believe in His victory! I encourage you to use this time for prayer, renew your trust in the Lord, and believe He is alive.

Holy Innocents parish has had no collections for these past two weeks - and we are a parish that lives from Sunday to Sunday, relying on the marvelous generosity of our pa-rishioners. Your Parish has now set up On Line Giving.

Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter that begins the

Holy Week. It is the day that we remember and celebrate

the day Jesus entered into Jerusalem as Savior and King.

As Jesus rode a donkey into the town of Jerusalem a

large crowd gathered and laid palm branches and their

cloaks across the road, giving Jesus royal treatment. The

hundreds of people shouted "Hosanna to the Son of Da-

vid! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!

Hosanna in the highest heaven!"
