NYSDOT continually monitors the condition of the Gowanus Expressway, regularly conducting in-depth

inspections. NYSDOT is undertaking numerous emergency repairs of the expressway, including repairs to the

steel in the structure and the deteriorated concrete deck, the installation of a new median, and the reinforcement

of the guide rails along the elevated highway.

This project is located on the Gowanus expressways (I-278) and the prospect expressway in Kings County,

borough of Brooklyn, New York.

Issuing of ABM reports by repairs during approval submission.
