CAREER OBJECTIVES

To advance in the field of research in children`s literature, language and education at all levels of the

education system and the wider community, with an aim of using my skills and knowledge for the

mutual benefit of self and society.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am a dedicated lecturer, scholar and mentor interested in research and publishing for the growth of the

field of children’s literature, and Swahili language.

October, 2015: Submitted a proposal entitled “The status of Children’s Literature and its Role in

Primary Teacher Training Colleges in Kenya” to Austrian Partnership Program in Higher

Education and Research for Development 2015 -2018 (APPEAR). Still awaiting
